Role Summary

The Oracle EBS Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Oracle applications to meet business needs. They work closely with functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, leveraging tools such as PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and OAF. The role ensures seamless integrations, performance optimization, and adherence to Oracle best practices

Duties and Responsibilities

  • check_mark Design, develop, and customize Oracle modules to meet business requirements
  • check_mark Build and optimize PL/SQL objects, SQL scripts, interfaces, reports, and forms using tools such as Toad, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, JDeveloper, and XML Publisher
  • check_mark Develop integration solutions for external systems, leveraging standard APIs for data uploads and module integration
  • check_mark Enhance performance of PL/SQL blocks and SQL queries
  • check_mark Implement and support Business Events, AME, and Oracle Workflow processes
  • check_mark Translate functional requirements into practical technical solutions
  • check_mark Conduct technical reviews, resolve defects, support code migration, and deliver technical documentation
  • check_mark Maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable database code for forms, reports, and web services
  • check_mark Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs
  • check_mark Ensure code quality, organization, and optimization
  • check_mark Open and manage Service Requests with Oracle as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • check_mark Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications and Database development, including full lifecycle implementations
  • check_mark Expertise in SQL performance tuning and Oracle APIs
  • check_mark Proficient in Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, AME, Alerts, Forms Personalization, Custom Libraries, and Custom Forms under APPS
  • check_mark Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) preferred
